We are inviting you to comment on a draft Plan, providing your own ideas for investment, economic recovery and sustainable development of Builth Wells

Powys County Council has appointed Owen Davies Consulting and Chilmark Consulting to work with local stakeholders, Town Council and business community to complete a Town Investment Plan for Builth Wells.

Builth Wells is part of the Transforming Towns initiative, a Welsh Government scheme that supports the growth and resilience of towns across Powys. The creation of the Plan for Builth Wells will bring it in line with other towns in the County that are preparing their own plans.

The Plan aims to help identify the gaps and actions required in the immediate future to support the economic recovery and sustainability of the town. A Plan for Builth Wells will mean the town is able to access future funding opportunities as they become available.

What type of Plan?

The plan is based on the principles of co-design and has involved local stakeholders and key organisations from an early stage in its development. Delivery will be focused on a vision for the town supported by shared priorities and outcomes.
